Exploring the frontier of sciences
Research and Co-operation
AUR@SIA Symposium is intended to gather both CNRS’ international joint research units in Asia and its academic and industrial partners. Asian research funding agencies, such as Singapore NRF or Chinese NSFC, are also invited to join the event together with French ANR.
This edition will be debating various issues related to scientific co-operation, including exploring the frontiers of science, designing innovative international partnerships and building scientific communities between Asian and Europe.
With the support of AXA Research Fund
Above all, AUR@SIA 2017 ambition is to provide a unique forum for research, society and industry executives interested connecting Europe and Asian science through co-operation. Represented countries include China, France, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Previous event
AUR@SIA 2015 was a 2-day symposium divided in 4 thematic half-day sessions.
Each session consisting of a keynote, presentations by CNRS laboratories, and inspiring panels on: Connecting the world – computer and engineering sciences, Connecting science and society – societal challenges, Connecting fundamental science to innovation, Connecting fields and continents – Triggering and funding mechanisms.
